Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Anax junius, known as the green darner or common green darner, is a dragonfly in the family Aeshnidae. Anax junius is one of the most common and abundant dragonfly species in North America; south to Panama. It is well known for its annual migration from the northern United States, south into Texas and Mexico. It also occurs in the Caribbean, Tahiti, and Asia; from Japan to mainland China. Their habitat is usually near ponds and streams throughout most of North America. Adult green darners prey on midges, moths, mosquitoes and flies. The green darner is one of the largest and fastest extant dragonflies. It is the official insect for the state of Washington in the United States. Magnification: x7 when shortest axis printed at 25 millimetres.
